My name is Lori McCorkle, I'm 65 years old and I live in Brandon, Florida, along with my mother who I am blessed to be able to stay home and take care of her. Owning and breeding beautiful Persian cats has long been a dream of mine, and this season of my life felt like the perfect time to embrace that dream.

I have spent my entire adult life breeding dogs—first training and showing German Shepherds, and later falling in love with the sweet little Chihuahuas. In 2014, as many of our female Chihuahuas were reaching retirement age, I had an epiphany… a Purr Epiphany! That moment marked the beginning of my journey with Persian kittens.

I have loved cats for as long as I can remember—family cats, strays, barn cats, abandoned litters, rescued tabbies, and even the occasional pregnant mama in need of help. Still, I had always dreamed of owning Persians. To me, they are the picture of dignity and elegance: soft, purring blankets of fluff draped across furniture like living décor. Bringing my Persian cats into our home and bonding with my precious fur babies has been both a blessing and a joy.

I truly believe God’s hand guided this journey. I prayed about it, and everything fell into place. After finding wonderful homes for several of our Chihuahuas, I began searching for Persians and was blessed to connect with a breeder who was downsizing her program. Through her, I acquired my cats and learned about the beautiful kittens they had produced. My cats are well-bred, healthy, clean, well-mannered, and friendly—yes, even my boy uses the litter box! They get along beautifully, and we couldn’t be happier.

A little more about me—I come from a close, loving family. I have two grown children and two beautiful grandsons. My parents were married for over 60 years before my dad passed away in 2021, and I am the oldest of four siblings. Raised in a Christian home, we were taught to work hard, live honestly, treat others with respect, and love deeply. Animals were always a part of our lives.

After moving from South Florida to Brandon at age 12, we grew up in a quiet neighborhood behind a dairy farm. Our days were spent riding horses, climbing trees, and caring for every kind of pet imaginable—from dogs and cats to rabbits, birds, and small animals. When I raised my first litter of bunnies at 12 years old, I was officially bitten by the breeding bug.

With more than 40 years of experience breeding animals, I have gained invaluable knowledge and hands-on experience. Family, friends, and neighbors often turn to me for animal-related advice, pet sitting, or grooming help. I am always grateful and give God all the praise and glory for every blessing in my life.

Thank you so much for visiting. You can learn more about our cats by visiting 'Our Kittens' Parents' page.

     Wishing you all the best,
